‘Pachamama’ Alpaca Knit Cardigan

Our appreciation for Mother Nature united in a divinely soft, vegetable-dyed & hand-knitted cardigan.

Pachamama represents our Mother Earth – our soil, land and nature in its entirety. Pachamama is the almighty goddess who gives life and nurtures all creatures. The entire life of the Andean people is geared towards living in balance with Pachamama.

Our 100% alpaca knitted cardigan has been dyed in an original and natural method from native Andean plants. Eucalyptus gives us a spring-like yet calming shade of green. Molle, the Peruvian peppertree, adds an elegant dark pink accent to our hand-knitted cardigan with puff sleeves. 

The buttons are made of coconut. 

Thanks to its uniquely soft and thermal properties (cooling on warm days and warming on cold days), alpaca wool is also called the “fleece of the gods”. In Inca times, only rulers and kings were allowed to wear the divinely soft and noble wool.
