The Land of Happiness

The belief in the beginning of a new life represented in a divinely soft, vegetable-dyed & hand-knitted unisex pullover.

In Inca mythology, the snake represents the underworld. However, in contrast to our modern beliefs, it represents the beginning of a new life. The snake symbolises wisdom and knowledge. It is a symbol of the infinite.

Our 100% alpaca knitted pullover was dyed in an original and natural method from native plants of the Andes. Eucalyptus gives us a spring-like and at the same time calming shade of green. Tara beans lend a warm cream tone to the traditional symbolism in our hand-knitted alpaca pullover.

Thanks to its uniquely soft and thermal properties (cooling on warm days and warming on cold days), alpaca wool is also called the “fleece of the gods”. In Inca times, only rulers and kings were allowed to wear the divinely soft and noble wool.
